Entering the addresses
The delivery address goes in first, your billing address after, in your own format. Timing, the delivery charge and tax follow the delivery address.
Where you are — the UK
The billing form takes your own format (street address, town and postcode); nothing from it reaches the recipient.
Delivery: theirs
The full American street address with unit number, city, state, ZIP code and the recipient's own phone number.
Timing for a British sender
In New Jersey the warehouse stops packing at 2 p.m. Eastern; where you are, that moment is 7 p.m. BST, mid-way through your day; the western cut-off comes after it. You choose the recipient's delivery date at checkout; the cut-off at the warehouse that serves their address, and the transit time from it, decide the earliest date the checker will offer.

Flowers leave our New Jersey or Los Angeles warehouse, whichever serves the address: orders placed by 2 p.m. Eastern in New Jersey or 12:30 p.m. Pacific in Los Angeles go out the same business day. Same-day hand delivery runs only where the checker answers local — in parts of New York City, North Jersey and the Los Angeles area — when the order is in by 11 a.m. in that city's own time. The charge depends on the recipient's ZIP: for most addresses the checker lists ground delivery at no charge, in some western areas (Arizona and Washington State among them) it lists only a paid courier rate, and a same-day charge shows at checkout.

The store charges in US dollars; the figure on your statement in pounds sterling depends on your bank's rate.

Because the arrangement never crosses a border, there is no duty and no customs delay; the recipient pays nothing.

Before you order from the UK
Will my card work?
Yes. The checkout shows Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover, Diners Club, JCB, Apple Pay and Google Pay; a card issued abroad works when the billing address is entered exactly as your bank holds it, in your own format. PayPal is not offered.
Will the recipient be charged?
Nothing. The flowers are prepared and delivered inside the United States, so there is no customs charge, no duty and no fee at the door.
When do I need to order?
Order by 2 p.m. Eastern in New Jersey or 12:30 p.m. Pacific in Los Angeles (7 p.m. and 8:30 p.m. BST where you are), and the flowers go out that business day, Monday to Friday; courier transit follows, one to three business days in the checker's answers. Same-day hand delivery is offered only where the checker answers local — parts of New York City, North Jersey and the Los Angeles area — when the order is in by 11 a.m. in that city's own time. For any other ZIP, the checker's date is the earliest available.
Can I add a card message?
Yes. A card message is typed at checkout, in English or English; call support early if it needs changing.
Will my recipient see my address or what I paid?
No. The recipient sees your name and card message, never your billing address, your card or the price.
Can I send flowers with wine?
Yes, with flowers from the wine, champagne and spirits collections, subject to the law where it lands; the recipient must be 21+ and show photo ID at the door. Flowers without a bottle need no ID.
